Sports in India today is in dire need of collaboration among industry experts who are fundamentally strong in their knowledge, approach and implementation. Experts working in silos often lose sight of the main beneficiary - the athlete - who becomes the victim of the dissonance between professionals that make up his core team.
I have spent 28 years working on the ground with elite athletes from various sports, aiding career resurgences of many through injury rehabilitation and performance training. A decade from that has also been dedicated to scouting and nurturing tribal and rural sporting talent through my NGO - ADOPT Sports. The journey has helped me distill my thoughts and internalize my learning.
My mission today is to create a new dynamic in Indian Sports by fostering collaboration and cross-learning, building capacity and infusing accountability into the system - all with a single aim of giving India's best athletes the best chance at bringing home the Gold!

Swati and Nandini come from extremely modest backgrounds from a small village ahead of Kolhapur. They were adopted under Dorf Ketal Pvt. Ltd.'s CSR for Sports programme and I have been training them since 2015.
I am extremely proud that since then both have become Junior National Champions (Nandini in 2017 and Swati in 2018) and have also gone on to win several International medals.
